Project outline:
Mission
Our mission for this project is to educate and provide vocational trainings for 150 to 225 women with farming, vocational, environmental, health, and business training and skills. For people who complete the education, Bishwa Seva will work with them to provide micro loan so that they can grow and help improve their lives and help create a cooperative to facilitate education and commerce.
Objective:
Our goal with this project share our knowledge from the research and development project with women in the community. There are many families who struggle every day to survive. By providing education, help provide micro loans, and creating a cooperative, they will have a community where they can share and grow. We are in the process of identifying the first 10 individual/families who we can begin setting up a cooperative with. We are encouraging them to be invested in the projects and the foundation plans with a 25/75 split. People who are interested in working towards the project, the foundation will provide 75% of the funds and they have to come up with 25% of the funds needed for the project. These families will either receive chicken or goats along with the successful research that had been conducted for the organic methods of farming.
Operation:
Bishwa Seva Foundation Nepal will work with the teaching/ research facility that has been build as a part of our last project (BSRDP) along with classroom and other school facilities. Classes will be conducted as a part of the after school program.
